Acupuncture and Muscular endurance
I was treating patient with low back pain that had decreased lumbar endurance the other day utilizing both spinal manipulation and acupuncture, along with endurance based exercise. Incidentally, you should be able to hold a "superman" pose with your arms at your sides for approximately 150 seconds (1). The patient has been continuing to improve and is now virtually pain free.
Many clinicians don't realize a nice side effect of acupuncture is increased increased endurance, among other things. We ran across
